We believe in the power of networking and collaboration. Our Chamber hosts a variety of engaging events designed to bring local businesses together, including our popular “Five in Five” events—where five speakers each have five minutes to share insights—our dynamic speed networking sessions, and “Quizmas,” our festive Christmas quiz that connects businesses with Felixstowe School’s sixth-form students. These events provide invaluable opportunities to build relationships, share expertise, and create lasting business connections.
Influence
We actively represent our members’ interests across multiple influential boards, ensuring the voice of Felixstowe’s business community is heard. Our Chamber holds positions on the Felixstowe BID, Visit Felixstowe, the Felixstowe Peninsula Community Partnership, and the Felixstowe Port Users Association. Through these strategic partnerships, we advocate for policies and initiatives that support local businesses, enhance the town’s economic growth, and contribute to a prosperous future for all.
Support
Keeping our members informed and prepared is at the heart of what we do. We provide essential updates on business and employment law, collaborate with the Department of Work and Pensions to deliver our well-attended Jobs Fair, and work with Suffolk Police during Cyber Security Month to help businesses safeguard their data, operations, and staff against cyber threats. Through education, resources, and expert guidance, we empower our members to navigate challenges and seize new opportunities.
