Bangers and Burglaries

This month’s networking breakfast was another successful one, run in conjunction with the Flyer. We met on Wednesday 5th July at the Orwell Hotel in Hamilton Road, Felixstowe.

Our guest speaker was South East Locality Inspector Andy Pershouse and his colleague Sergeant Peter Street who gave us an interesting and informative talk about keeping our homes and offices secure and also told us how the modern local Suffolk Constabulary runs and some of the challenges it faces with cyber crime. If you missed the talk but would like to know about security for your premises check out the Suffolk Police website https://www.suffolk.police.uk/

Our guests also told us they are always looking for local volunteers to support the force. If this is something which is of interest to you – full details can also be found on the Suffolk Police website link above.

Our next breakfast is again at the Orwell Hotel in the Buttery on Wednesday 16th August and our speaker will be fellow Chamber Member Jim Hurden. Jim will be talking about diving off the Felixstowe coast. To book you can click here or email info@felixstowechamber.co.uk to reserve your place and pay on the door.
