The January Breakfast was a great start to the New Year

The Chamber’s first Breakfast of the year at the Felixstowe Ferry Golf Club on January 17 was a resounding success, with a lively crowd of more than 30 members and guests attending to hear Paul Wood,  Head of Economic Development and Regeneration at East Suffolk (Suffolk Coastal and Waveney Councils).  During his talk he explained how dedicated efforts to secure and support economic growth in Felixstowe and the rest of the region were progressing and stressed the need for further collaboration and co-operation to ensure success.

I had the pleasure of attending the first breakfast of the year at the ferry golf club, and also had the privilege of speaking about Cycle Felixstowe and the plans we have for our 24hr cycle challenge in may, the venue and the breakfast were first class, special thanks to Mr Roger Abbott, chairman of the chamber, and also to my very good friend Mr Barry Garnham of FRESH GOLD RADIO. Looking forward to a lot of exciting things happening in Felixstowe, and working with the chamber and the town council to promote events that are being planned.
