Accuracy & Attention to Detail – 4th April 2019

This workshop is highly participative and aims to demonstrate why we make mistakes and what methods we can put in place to produce more accurate text and number work.  It also considers the impact of errors on the individual, team and organisation, and how our personality traits influence the mistakes we make.
Course Objectives – At the end of the workshop, delegates will be able to:
  • Recognise common errors and what causes us to make them
  • Analyse personality traits which influence how we work and the mistakes we make
  • Work through techniques to produce more accurate results
 Course Content:
  • Common errors and self-analysis of what causes them
  • Our personality traits in Attention and Conscientiousness and the influence these have on our concentration and attention to detail
  • The impact of mistakes on ourselves and others, and what actions we can put in place to avoid this
  • The Multi-tasking Myth!
  • Practice techniques to improve accuracy, proof reading, punctuation and spelling, and data entry
Workshop Format
This half day work shop is a mixture of direct teaching, interactive sessions and group discussions will be used to help delegates to fully demonstrate their learning. The trainer uses practical activities to relate the subject matter to their own situations, so delegates take away tools and actions they can immediately implement.
Delegates will be supplied with a folder of the workshop materials and develop their own action plan to implement and review.
Duration – Registration 8:45am for a 9.00am start. Approximate finish 12:30pm
Location – Epsilon House, West Road, Ransomes Europark, Ipswich, Suffolk, IP3 9FJ. Car parking is available.
Cost – £85.00*+ VAT per delegate – includes refreshments and workshop materials.
