Spotlight on ………..Jackamans

Jackamans Solicitors has been a proud and active Felixstowe Chamber member for a number of years.   Many Felixstowe residents view Jackamans as their “family” solicitors’ practice and the firm is an enthusiastic supporter of Felixstowe. One of East Anglia’s longest established law firms, with offices in Felixstowe, Ipswich, Diss and Harleston, several of our lawyers have been with the firm for many years.

Head of the Felixstowe office is Family Solicitor Tim Owers.  Timothy qualified as a Solicitor in 1991 and became a Partner in 1995. He leads the Firm’s Family Law Department.  He specialises in matrimonial finances and proceedings relating to children and has been a member of the Law Society’s Family Panel since 1999.

Fiona Hollis and Jonathan Cox are the conveyancing executives based at Felixstowe. Fiona moved to the town in 1968 and has been with the firm since 1986.  She has a wealth of local knowledge which is invaluable in her job. Fiona observes: “With the increased use of the internet for all kinds of professional services – including conveyancing, we find that people value the personal relationship and local knowledge that we offer even more.”

Jonathan Cox has over 30 years’ experience in residential conveyancing and also has knowledge of planning and building regulation issues from his time working in the legal department of a local authority.  Jon says “For many people house sale and purchase represent the most important financial decisions they will ever make.  We are sensitive to the pressure that clients can experience and do our very best to assist, keeping clients fully informed on costs and events at each stage of the process.”
