Keep it Local Campaign

The Felixstowe Chamber has continued meeting during Lockdown and, among other things, has decided to promote a new “Keep it Local” campaign launched by Nemo & Office Club

Suggested by one of our members, it aims to encourage our members to adhere to the same “Shop Local” maxim that we urge residents to follow, by making an effort to look locally for their supplies and services, as well as any maintenance, instead of going further afield.

We hope to have a special page on our website highlighting all the local businesses that can supply your needs in these vital areas in the near future to help you do this.

If you provide services and/or supplies that will benefit other local companies, you can help us with this new initiative by sending us a feature about your business (no more than 150 words and a picture) so that we can use on the Chamber website, or in this newsletter. Please send it and a picture to Corrine at info@felixstowechamber.co.uk

Member to Member offers

To enhance this new initiative and the Chamber, your committee is also exploring ways to further increase membership benefits, including special new member-to-member deals, with possible discounts for other members. Let us know if you would be willing to join in a scheme like this to support other members (and maybe help increase your own business) by offering a discount for your products to other Chamber members. Again, contact Corrine on info@felixstowechamber.co.uk

Pierrot Stationers

Pierrots Stationers are up for sale......Just to let you all know Andrea & Mark are looking to sell the retail side of the business, as they have various other things they wish to explore. "Pierrot Stationers is still a viable business and we are not going to close, we are just looking to see if there is anyone out & about that might be interested in continuing to drive Pierrot Stationers forward in the future" explained Mark
"With everything going on at the moment we are being very realistic with the price we are looking to achieve" - If you are interested, or maybe know someone who is please feel free to call Mark on 079393 75771 or pop in the shop"

News from Jeff Coleman

true-potential Logo
Hello everyone, we are moving…..
I’m Jeff Coleman from True Potential Wealth Management. After six years at 101a Hamilton Road we are re-locating to new offices. One of the problems some of our clients were having were the steep stairs to our 1st floor offices, so since our lease was coming to an end, I started looking for more accessible premises.

I am pleased to announce that from the 1st September our new address will be 21 Orwell Road in Felixstowe, with the Ranelagh Road pay and display parking nearby.

I believe that the new office will be more convenient to all our clients and I look forward to being of service to the residents of our lovely town for many more years.

Stay safe and keep well.
