Hello, we’re Felixstowe Radio, we are proud of our policy of openness, providing airtime to the community!
We are involved in the community and we want the community to be involved with the station. If you’d like to become involved in the running of the station as a presenter, producer or any other role, please contact us.

Built in 2009, Felixstowe Radio has become a very successful local station with audiences young and old from around Felixstowe! We moved to our new home in the summer of 2018 and are loving it! Live and local across Felixstowe, Shotley, Bawdsey, Harwich, Dovercourt and surrounding areas on 107.5fm. Also you can find us online on this website (Click Listen Live), on the ‘Tune In’ Radio Player App or via Smart Speaker.

Henny was set up in 2023 by Helen Couch, a qualified and award-winning marketing and PR professional, with over 20 years of experience in the communications and marketing sector.

Initially set up as a freelancer, and not specialising in just one area of marketing/PR, she was able to offer her clients the range of support to make effective strategies. With this unique offering, the work demand grew and so did the business.

The business covers marketing and PR for a multiple sectors including Logistics, Hospitality, Sustainability, Legal, Financial, Fitness, Utilities and Insurance.

Offering the full marketing mix to its clients, from digital, events, BD and general marketing and PR, they are able to help businesses build a cohesive and successful marketing strategy alongside implementation.

Whatever your objective is, we can assist with all the right marketing and PR tools to help you achieve it. We don’t do ‘out of the box’ packages because we don’t believe one size fits all. So marketing is effective for you.

Suffolk Sound

Located at Beach Street, Felixstowe, Suffolk Sound is a new radio station firmly embedded into the community with Suffolk at the very heart of everything we do!

We are a not-for-profit organisation, providing media access to local news, issues and interests. Our mission statement is: “To promote active community involvement in regeneration and social inclusion and to enhance diversity and quality across Suffolk through the use of community radio as a tool for cohesion, expression and skills development.”

Part of Suffolk Media Training Group, Suffolk Sound engages with members of our community who have an interest in radio presentation skills and above all are passionate about where they live. Volunteers receive training in media skills by industry professionals. Our rosta of presenters include some very familiar voices from regional BBC radio stations and beyond.

We broadcast online, on your mobile devices and on your smart speaker 24 hours a day with a mix of shows and a music policy based on chart hits from the 70’s to the early 2000’s. In the evenings you’ll hear more specialist shows from around the UK. We like to think that whenever you tune in, you’ll hear a favourite song from the last 4 decades of hit music!
