It was a lively evening at the official launch of @Inc. Felixstowe on Wednesday 8th June, when MENTA welcomed the local business community to the former ‘Yours’ fashion store at 87 Hamilton Road to see how they have transformed this space.
Chair of the Chamber, Paul Borroughs, and Committee Member Rachael Jackson – as well as former Chair, Roger Abbott – joined guests at the launch to learn more about the exciting plans for @Inc. Felixstowe, which has been carefully designed to suit those looking to escape the clutter of working from home and enjoy the freedom and focus of a defined working space, without the associated costs. The new co-working space starts from just £10 per day, with an annual membership of £60 plus VAT.
MENTA also intends for @Inc. Felixstowe to provide an inspirational, flexible venue for community projects and initiatives.
The Chamber has been a long-standing supporter of a co-working business hub in Felixstowe high street, and our involvement has been preserved for posterity in the ceiling decoration of the front of the unit, which Suzanne Banks, Community Manager for MENTA, put together in painstaking detail to commemorate the journey of @Inc. Felixstowe, from initial concept to its eagerly-anticipated opening last month.
